The Molten Legion will steamroll through its enemies with fierce melee warriors, solid armor, and powerful artillery. Its units have high health and armor, allowing them to take damage and still press their advance. As their intimidating frontline marches forward, their backline unleashes a devastating arsenal upon their foes. The bulk of the Molten Legion's damage comes from medium to close range, making them more vulnerable in long-distance combat. Additionally, they lack mobility, making them particularly susceptible to crowd control and harassment tactics. However, in the end, what the Molten Legion may lack in utility or speed, they more than make up for in sheer firepower and endurance.
"We march, we fight, we die." These are the words of the Molten Legion, a nation of black orcs forged in fire and war. For thousands of years, their people have struggled to escape their desolate volcanic homeland of Orgath and find a new home. The way of the orc is conquest—they will not be given a home by any of the softskins outside their lands, who have slaughtered orc-kind like animals for centuries. The Molten Legion will take the lands they are owed by right of combat and dominate those who dare challenge their strength. Although the Molten Legion has not been able to hold many of the settlements they have captured in the Bright Lands, they have taken them nonetheless, as the black orcs have perfected the art of siege warfare. Only time will tell if the people of the Molten Legion will break their cycle of war and death to find a new home, or if they will remain trapped in hellfire…
Magmaphants are colossal, lava-blooded beasts native to the Fire Marsh of Orgath. With molten hearts and volcanic hides, these slow-moving creatures thrive in the harsh, fiery landscapes, consuming magma-based flora and rocks. Their bodies naturally release lava, seeping from their mouths, eyes, and the volcanic protrusions on their backs. Though peaceful by nature, they’ve been enslaved by the Molten Legion as instruments of war. Engineers of the Legion affix massive cannons to the Magmaphants' backs, harnessing their molten hearts to power these devastating weapons. Despite their hulking size and slow pace, they are a terrifying sight in battle, spewing lava and laying waste to enemy fortifications. Magmaphants have become a symbol of the Legion’s dominance—an embodiment of their ruthless ambition and mastery over the fiery elements of Orgath.
Orgath is a brutal, fiery wasteland dominated by volcanic ranges and rivers of molten rock. The region’s most infamous feature is the Blood of Arugoz, a vast ocean of lava said to be the spilled blood of the Orcish god, slain by the Molten Legion’s emperor. Orcs now sail this searing sea in iron ships, seeking new lands, though most never return. The land teems with danger—fire lizards, ember drakes, and the vicious snarg-hides prowl the scorching terrain. Constant invasions from Red-Skin Orcs from the south add to the chaos, their worship of fire making them relentless. The Iron Citadel, capital of the Molten Legion, stands as a symbol of power amid this unforgiving landscape, its rulers vying for dominance over all who dare challenge Orgath’s fiery heart.
The Iron Citadel looms over Orgath as a testament to the divide between power and subjugation. Within the towering Iron Tower, Emperor Immortus and his Iron Council reside in cold opulence, isolated from the suffering below. The tower’s black halls echo with the tortured screams of those suspected of treason, victims of the dreaded Silencers who root out potential threats to Immortus' paranoid regime. Below, the streets are an industrial wasteland where Orc grunts toil alongside enslaved humans, elves, and dwarves, mining ore and forging weapons of war. In this brutal society, the strong rule, and the weak perish in the fires of the forges. Protected by a molten lava moat, no army has ever breached the city's defenses, as the slaves suffer in silence, and the Orcish elite thrive on their broken backs.
High Warlord Dargol, born in the northern settlement of Vuln’s Stand, was thrust into the ranks of the Molten Legion at just 14. His natural leadership and stoic nature quickly set him apart during his training at Legion's Rise. At 16, he became a hero during the Red Orc invasion of the southern border. Leading a desperate last stand at the Red Gate, Dargol slew the Red Orc leader, Margaz Flameborn, earning him the revered title "Flamebreaker." Elevated to High Warlord, Dargol has held this dangerous position for over 20 years, maintaining the Emperor’s favor—a rare feat. Unlike many, Dargol respects the common orc and views their lives as valuable, often clashing with the Emperor over needless losses. Though a deadly warrior, Dargol does not revel in violence, performing his duties out of loyalty to the Molten Legion and a desire to return home to his family.
